Crimson Blader

Today's episode of Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's showed us a new Synchro that, at least in the anime, is generic. It's similar to Colossal Fighter in stats and summoning condition, but the effects are totally different. Let's take a closer look:


Crimson Blader
Warrior/Synchro/Effect
FIRE/8*/ATK 2800 DEF 2600
When this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle, your opponent cannot Summon during their next turn.

This is an astonishing card. Very easy to summon, awesome ATK, Warrior, and locks your opponent's summons down. If this get's released, and does NOT get nerfed, it will become the best LVL 8 Synchro. Ojama Trio + this is an instant 3 turn no opposing monsters. Even Nightmare Archfiends can be useful with this card. And if you combo this with Naturia Bamboo Shoot, you instantly make a total lockdown that can only be broken by effect veiler. 

Summarizing, it's a great card that I expect to not be released or get very nerfed.

    Awesome card. Though it won't probably be released, as there are no more 5D's sets. But maybe as some kind of promo...

    It's either not gonna be released, or get nerfed. I doubt Konami would let something this powerful into the game.

    I could tell it was wrong from WATCHING THE EPISODE. Jack clearly said it only works when it kills a Synchro. I could tell even without subs.

    I also see the word "Synchro" on the card.

    Whoever translated it fails.

    It doesn't matter if it's broken, if it's terrible, it is Jack's card, therefore it must be released.
