The promised SQD Turbo. While may not look like it, it's summons it fairly easy. The main combo is to:
1. Get Treeborn, Fishborg and Ariel to Graveyard
Really easily done. Treeborn can be dumped with Swap Frog, and you can discard Fishborg to drop Swap. Eventually, use Foolish Burial. Also, Ariel searches out the next combo part after she dies, so its relatively easy to assemble the combo.
2. During your Standby Phase, Summon Treeborn Frog
3. Discard something to revive Fishborg Blaster
4. Normal Summon Gishki Beast, reviving Ariel
Easy to do, as Ariel searches out Beast after she's flipped.
5. Tune Fishborg with Beast/Ariel to Synchro Summon T.G. Hyper Librarian
6. Revive Fishborg again
7. Tuner into another Librarian and draw 1 from Librarian's effect
You only get to draw from the one that is already on the field
8. Revive Fishborg last time
9. Tune into Formula Synchron, draw 3 cards
1 from Formula, 2 from both Librarians
10. Believe in Nexus
11. Tune all 3 monsters into Shooting Quasar.
12. Win the game
As you can see, Summoning it is really easy, as assembling the combo is piece of cake. Also, you lost almost no card advantage. Ignoring the resoruces needed to gather the combo:
Revive Treeborn (+1)
Revive Fishborg (+0)
Summon Beast (+1)
Synchro into Librarian (-1)
Revive Fishborg (+0)
Synchro another Librarian (-1)
Draw 1 from Librarian's effect (+1)
Revive Fishborg (+0)
Synchro into Formula (-1)
Draw 3 cards (+3)
Summon Quasar (-2)
So, it's...+1 in total. Yes, you heard me right. You just Summoned a badass Synchro and got 1 more card.
So, that would be all on this deck. If you want, you can include some Rank 4 Exceeds in your Extra Deck, as Beast makes them instantly.
I think there are still some questions on whether Formula misses timing if Librarian is out on the field, and the wiki isn't helping out much. Either way, it's still a net 0, and for getting Quasar out on the field in 1 turn, that in itself is good.
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't. Why would it? If 2 optional effects would activate at 1 time, they simply go into chain.
